For relief of pain and itching, try applying warm and cold compress interchangeably for five minutes. A hot sitz bath or sitting in warm water for fifteen minutes a day can definitely help relieve the pain and discomfort felt.
Remember that the use of certain medications in hemorrhoids treatment must be consulted with a physician first. Hemorrhoids do not usually require surgery unless they become very large, painful and have resulted to bleeding.
